Today’s Daily Dose reminds us that what the enemy sends to destroy can become the very thing God uses to deliver. Even in attack, God is still sovereign. As you read, reflect on how the fire can become a turning point, not an ending.
Scripture
Daniel 3:22
“…the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.”
Devotional
Daniel 3 tells us something incredible: the fire killed the soldiers who threw them in—but the men inside the furnace walked unharmed.
This is spiritual reversal. The enemy planned destruction, but God turned the furnace into freedom. What was meant to break them became the place God displayed His power.
There are seasons where it feels like the enemy is winning. But God specializes in turning attacks into announcements. The trial becomes testimony. The furnace becomes a platform. The fire becomes proof that God is with you.
Reflection
Where do I feel under attack right now?
How might God be turning this into a testimony?
Today’s Prayer
"God, turn what the enemy meant for harm into deliverance and testimony. Strengthen me in the fire."
Even the enemy’s plan is limited under God’s authority. Tomorrow, we’ll focus on the deepest gift of the furnace: the fire doesn’t just free you—it brings you into God’s presence in a new way.
