Not Alone in the Flames

Today’s Daily Dose begins the week with a powerful truth: God does not always remove the fire, but He never abandons His people in it. As you read, reflect on how God may be walking with you in a season you wish would end.

Daniel 3:24–25
“…Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire… and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

Devotional
There are moments when we pray for the fire to stop, but God chooses instead to step into it with us. The Hebrew men were bound, thrown into the furnace, and surrounded by flames—but they were not alone.

The miracle was not just that they survived. The miracle was that God was present. What the enemy meant to destroy became the place where God revealed Himself most clearly.

You may be in a fire right now, but you are not abandoned. God is closer than you think.

Where am I asking God to remove the fire instead of recognizing His presence in it?
How might God be walking with me right now?

Today’s Prayer
Lord, help me trust that You are with me, even when the fire does not go away.

God’s presence changes everything. Today, rest in the truth that you are not walking through this season alone. Tomorrow, we’ll look at how God often reveals Himself more clearly in the fire than in comfortable seasons.
