Not Alone in the Flames

Scripture
Daniel 3:27
“…nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.”

Devotional
The fire was real, but it did not cling to them. Not even the smell of smoke remained.

When God brings you through a trial, He brings you through completely. You may remember the fire, but it does not have to define you. What once threatened to destroy you becomes part of your testimony.

God’s fire refines—it does not ruin.

Lord, thank You for bringing me through and shaping me along the way.

God’s fire leaves no lasting damage. As you continue through this week, remember that transformation is taking place. Tomorrow, we’ll look at why Christ in the fire is better than comfort without Him.
